The Challenge #74

Lesley has another amazing inspiration photo and theme for you this week at The Challenge

I wanted to incorporate both the tractor theme as well as the subtle colors in the photo.  I started by "Debossing a rectangle frame to highlight my image as well as a dotted border line.  I added red paper behind the dots so they would pop and popped up my great big hello! on black foam.

I hope my card  inspires you to make a masculine theme card of your own : ) Please come join the fun at The Challenge! we love seeing your work in the gallery.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful Monday!

Patti

You nailed it! Did you do any CROPPING for this card??heehee I love the look and that fact it is for your dad! He will love it. I see the next PTI die I want "hello". Is there where you go it? I love the dots on the bottom. Was that a die?

What an inspiring masculine card! I love the color of red you chose. It truly pops! That hello die is has a wonderful font. That stamp is fabulous and I see a bit of red inside the barn, too. I think the debossed frame is a fabulous design decision. All in all a fantastic card!! :)

This is fantastic. I think it may be my favorite card ever using that little farm set. Love the subtle details like the red dotted lines and embossed frame, and how your color scheme is so simple. That tractor is so very adorable. Must look to see if I have it. Will be so happy if I do!

I love your card and the inspirational photo. Farmall tractors are really abundant on our farm. My hubby got several from his father and when he retires he is thinking of restoring many of them. So this is so cool. I need a good tractor die and stamp for my farm creations I can see.

Such eye-catching details on your card, Patti, with the embossing and paper behind the dots. Special attention to 'little' things can have quite the impact! Your farm scene reminds me of long-ago visits to my grandparents' farm in Manitoba...right down to the little red tractor! Smiling at the memories and the delight of your creativity...
